“It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.”
Light From Many Lamps was a book my parents both loved and quoted often. The above quote is from that book. This type of thinking has greatly influenced my entire life.
Tonight, while driving home in the darkness, I looked out over the Colorado plains and saw this beautiful light in the night – a nearly full moon framed in wispy clouds and a jet’s contrail. In the darkness, light always bring hope – and in these pictures, beauty.
It is my prayer that the light of love may shine away any darkness and fear in our lives and in our world.
