Weekly Photo Challenge-Family

My “Debbie Macomber” Tuesday Mornings

Every Tuesday, I go for therapy.  Not REAL therapy.  My kind of therapy – FUN!

I am blessed to  join this great group of ladies for 2+ hours every Tuesday at one of the best bookstores in Colorado.  We knit, crochet, laugh, drink coffee, and share wonderful stories and creativity.  Sometimes we drop stitches, we rip out,  and we start over, but always we have fun.

We actually enjoy the kind of camaraderie that made Debbie Macomber’s “A Good Yarn” such an entertaining book to read and, yes, that kind of camaraderie really does exist!

So, please meet my knitting “family” and know that if you’re ever in Denver, you’re most welcome to join us.  We are the Denver Knit Wits!

  1. I love this one! I used to belong to a “knitting family” but unfortunately we got divorced when the yarn store we hung out in closed and two of the family members moved out of town. Looking at your pictures, I realize just how much I miss them.

    1. I’m glad you stopped by! Is there any way you could start another “knitting family?” I found this one on meetup.com and it has been a joy. Local bookstores, community centers, Michael’s stores, boutiques, etc., might have a room available for free to use for a couple of hours if there aren’t any yarn shops nearby. If you were anywhere close to us in Denver, you’d be most welcome to join us!
